Wordless Wednesday -- scratch that -- Word Wednesday

Yep.  That's what the loaded truck looks like when we go to the lake.  Remember -- a week and a half ago when I described it via Miscellany Monday?  This picture was taken about an hour before we left.  Crazy.  (that's my cute Grace just waiting to leave)

Thanks to my daughter, Hannah (who was riding with my sister in the protocol behind the truck space), she took a picture of the truck and trailer as we were moving.  Or supposed to be moving.  Note the stopped vehicles.  Road construction.  In Minnesota.  Over the holiday weekend.  True?  You betcha. (that's a Minnesota classic phrase -- imagine if you could hear me in real like.  Ya, know....Minnesooooota)

And, yes, that's the loaded trailer sitting by my parents cabin.  Waiting.  Waiting for me to spend 20 minutes trying to untie the yellow twine I used to secure all those bikes, and noodles (fail), and stroller, and kayak, and  lawn chairs, and fishing poles, and fans.  Wow.  We bring a ton for one week.  So -- here's the deal -- if you are ever in Minnesota and see a vehicle racing down the highway and a crazy mom driving  -- might as well wave.  Chances are it will be me. Especially if I have a latte from Caribou in my hand. :)

My wordless wednesday wasn't quite wordless either! That looks like yall had a great time-I'm sure you've got a ton to pack with 7 kids! I read the rest of your post in an accent (in my head) after the whole You Betcha thing! Do you remember the Bobby's World cartoon, and his mom's accent? That's what I heard. haha!

I love how much stuff you took...LOVE IT! I will definitely be cottaging it with my two toddles next time we try a getaway. We attempted a trailer this year and it was....disastrous! Thanks for stopping by, happy WW :)

Your truck and trailer remind of my childhood...we used to go camping nearly every weekend, loaded trailer and van...only five kids though, instead of seven. :)

I'm blog hopping and came over from Secret Mom Thoughts today. Happy Wednesday.

I think it'd be fun to have a cabin to go to. But it does look like a lot of work.

I will definitely be on the lookout when I am in the area. lol Great pics! We just camped and I had a blast. How was it? And I don't think you can ever pack too much stuff. We way over packed too, but it's way worse when underpacking.

What's funny is at first I thought the car was in the trailer....
