friday favorite things | finding joy

Dear Samuel.
I love you.
You are funny and provide so much laughter in the day
Your smile is catchy.
Your eyes amazing.
I love to watch you sleeping peacefully at night.
Miss you sweet boy.

Dear Gracie,
How can you be ten?
You're growing into a beautiful young lady
with a heart for the Lord.
Thank you for always hugging me goodnight
and good morning.
Blessed by you.

Dear Caleb,
Boy of mine with many names
and a crazy determination.
I've never met anyone who can memorize things
as easily as you can.
I love how you protect me
and pray for me.

Dear Hannah,
My oldest.
Thank you for helping run the household while I'm gone.
You are a beautiful young woman who loves the Lord.
I am blessed by your photography
and how you capture the joy in our lives.
You and I need to get coffee.

Dear Chloe,
Yes, you can come and get coffee as well.
Thank you also for helping run the home with Hannah.
You, my dear, are such a blessing.
When you were born you filled my life with crazy fun and laughter.
You are empathetic.
A giver.
I love you.

Dear Brennan boy,
Ah, my first born son.
Brennan Alexander.
I get teary thinking about how you protect your brothers
and how you love to learn. Especially about God.
I'm grateful that your favorite time of the day is Bible time and that you
tell me that you love me. Never stop doing that.

Dear Elijah.
My moochie man.
You are the boy that we were told we couldn't ever have.
You are victory.
You are becoming my helper.
I love how you want to just sit by me, be near me.
I can't wait to get home and give you one of our
mega hugs.

I love you guys.
I know right now I am missing you {which I am -- added today at Relevant}. My prayer is that the Lord uses this time that I'm at Relevant to strengthen my relationship with Him so that I can come back home and be a better mom to each of you.

You are all my favorite things.

Love this! And it's funny how many times Samuel snuck in his siblings pics!
Continuing to pray!
Psalms 28:1-2 Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

Hope you made it home safe and sound!
Know that you're always in my thoughts and prayers!
Psalms 28:6-7 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
